H4 is a digital platform transforming the documentation that underpins global financial markets and legal contractsLog in Request demo
Documentation today is a major source of inefficiency.
It is the bedrock of the global capital markets and legal contracts but has not been fundamentally improved for decades.
It is still far too difficult to create, read, navigate, search, analyze, compare, collaborate on, negotiate, distribute and store documentation.
Consider how many documents your own organization has executed and how much time, effort, knowledge and expense goes into creating, analyzing and monitoring them.
But little has been done for a long time to change the status quo.
The digitization of documentation has yet to really begin.
H4 is vastly improving documentation, delivering:

H4 Marine Chronometer
JOHN HARRISON, H4 inventor
H4 is named after the breakthrough technological invention by British engineer John Harrison in the 18th century. H4 was the chronometer developed by Harrison that provided the solution for measuring longitude at sea – a longstanding problem for sailors in determining where they were located while on voyage.
Harrison’s H4, which became renowned for its technical innovation and devotion to quality craftsmanship, changed the way the world navigated the oceans, in turn transforming global commerce. The H4 of the 21st century takes this pioneering work as its inspiration.
The H4 team is defined by its unusual mix of people – as diverse in expertise as it is in background and outlook. We’re a motley crew of investment bankers, technologists, corporate lawyers and product designers. We’re from Manhattan and Skopje, Switzerland and Stoke. We’re Oxbridge grads and university dropouts; DotA players and polo players, all working side by side.
As different as we are, we’re first and foremost a team. United by a shared belief in the creative power of collaboration, an intense curiosity, and a common mission, we’re able to find inspiration from each others experiences. Because it’s only by blending the industry knowledge of seasoned finance professionals and lawyers with the ingenuity and perspective of expert designers and engineers, that we can build a technology capable of transforming our industry for the better.
